Do you want to work with complex life and pension functionality and be part of our future growth? Then you might be our new Product Owner in the Product Management Team

Key about your role

As a Product Owner in Keylane you will work closely with your own Feature Teams, the Cluster Managers and Developers to make sure our products continue being the leading solutions in the financial market. Together with your colleagues you will solve challenges such as business analysis, strategy and vision defining the standard product for your own functional area. You will refine epics and define the product backlog for the Feature Team. Your functional product responsibility area will be centred around Keylane's Policy Administration Systems Lifetime and Maia. Both products are in production at Dutch and Caribbean customers. The responsibility will span both business enhancements and technical challenges related to new functionality, maintenance, compliance obligations and supportability.

You will also work closely together with the other Product Owners and clients to plan and coordinate dependencies between cross functional implementations. You will be included in the strategic work to define the life cycle for the entire L&P product portfolio, especially regarding Lifetime and Maia.

In the role as Product Owner you will have important influence on the development of Keylane products and of Keylane Industry Platform for Pensions, with great possibilities of further growth. You will be handling interesting business challenges and be in the front line of our further internationalizing.

We are a group of highly dedicated Product Owners and Product Managers, who are cooperative and eager to do the best for our clients. We are Translating customer wishes, market initiatives and customer contractual obligations into product priorities.

We are internationalizing our policy administration system, which introduces an international work environment with close cooperation with our colleagues in the other countries. It is essential that you emphasize business understanding, are willing to both listen and discuss the different challenges and solutions in a professional manner.

Key about you
  • Have strong cooperation skills and a high sense of responsibility
  • Have comprehensive experience with Life and Pension Products from industry jobs and/or have a theoretical background with an actuarial education.
  • Have a professional fundament working with software development organization, preferable also with agile methods.
  • Have experience with the financial sector to be able to drive the development of complex and business-critical systems
  • Have experience with prioritizing tasks and scope, preferable experience with Product Management
  • Have drive and energy to continuously improve.
  • Have excellent command in both the Dutch and the English language, where you feel comfortable with stakeholder management on all levels of our organization.

Keylane Offers
  • A monthly gross salary between € 4200 and € 7000 based on 40 hours per week;
  • 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;
  • A profit share;
  • A pension scheme, with the option to save extra;
  • Travel reimbursement: Receive a mileage allowance of €0.23 per km or an NS Business Card, which can also be used for personal travel
  • 24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days, which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays, allowing you to take them when you like;
  • Flexibility in working environment. As part of a hybrid working team, you will work partly from home and partly from the office. If you work in the office, a free lunch is waiting for you every day. If you work from home, you will receive a working from home allowance (€ 4 net per day) and internet allowance (€ 35 net per month);
  • The possibility of working remotely from abroad for up to 2 months per year;

  • A one-year contract that, subject to satisfactory performance, will be converted into a permanent contract;
