Optiver is seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer to help architect and develop our global, ultra-low-latency communication network. This role requires a strong foundation in statistical signal processing, linear algebra, and optimization, combined with solid practical engineering intuition. If you thrive at the intersection of mathematical modeling, signal processing and algorithm design, particularly in the context of RF systems, and have exposure to machine learning (considered a plus), we encourage you to apply.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design and develop signal processing algorithms for cutting-edge RF transceiver systems, focusing on reliability in harsh propagation conditions and ultra-low latency performance. This involves:
Modeling of complex physical phenomena, including RF signal propagation and hardware impairments, using statistical and linear algebra frameworks.
Design of novel algorithms for signal detection, channel estimation, and tracking.
Collaborate closely with system, software and FPGA engineers to implement and optimize your algorithms on real-time hardware platforms.
While your primary responsibility lies in algorithm design, you will also be expected to drive innovation from theory to hardware implementation, ensuring your solutions are deployable on high-performance platforms.
Keep up to date with state-of-the-art developments in signal processing, wireless communications, radar systems, and machine learning, and leverage these advancements to drive continuous improvements in transceiver design and performance
In addition, you should be a strong team player—able to prioritize your activities in alignment with team goals, adapting as needed to meet shared objectives.
