Driven by shared success, PMG leverages business strategy and transformation, creative, media, and insights—as well as its proprietary operating system, Alli—to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions and innovative media strategies.

Our team comprises over 900 employees globally, and our work for ambitious brands like Apple, Nike, Sephora, Experian, Therabody, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Creed Fragrances, BNY, Intuit, CKE Restaurants, Travelex, and Whole Foods spans 85+ countries.

Who You Will Be Working With

At PMG, we believe measurement should do more than just track media performance—it should tell a compelling story, drive smarter decisions, and connect marketing to real business outcomes. As an Analytics & Measurement Director, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how a major retailer measures success, moving beyond siloed KPIs to a holistic, business-impact-driven analytics framework.

You’ll collaborate with media strategists, data scientists, and customer leadership teams, helping to define and implement best-in-class measurement strategies. From incrementality testing and attribution modeling to AI-driven analytics, you’ll be at the forefront of developing solutions that bring clarity to complex marketing challenges. This role blends hands-on execution with high-level strategic leadership, ensuring measurement is both actionable and future-focused.

If you’re passionate about translating data into insights, leading measurement innovation, and driving business growth through analytics, this is the place to make an impact.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a measurement strategy that connects media performance to real business impact.
  • Establish a north star measurement philosophy, guiding clients beyond siloed KPIs toward a holistic, strategic analytics framework.
  • Design and implement incrementality testing, attribution models, and advanced media measurement methodologies (MMM, lift testing, diminishing returns analysis, etc.).
  • Conduct deep-dive data analysis to uncover insights that inform marketing spend, audience strategy, and channel effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain automated measurement tools and dashboards using platforms like BigQuery, Redshift, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Partner with customer leadership and internal teams to define key success metrics and align measurement roadmaps with business goals.
  • Work cross-functionally to bridge the gap between business teams and technical data teams, ensuring analytics solutions are both insightful and actionable.
  • Lead experimentation and testing, designing lift studies and custom attribution models that improve marketing performance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, including privacy regulations, identity resolution, retail media, and AI-driven analytics, to proactively shape measurement strategies.
  • Represent PMG in client meetings, industry panels, and RFP responses, offering thought leadership and guidance on measurement best practices.
  • Mentor and develop a team of analytics managers and senior analysts, instilling best practices in measurement, experimentation, and data storytelling.
  • Foster deep partnerships with media, strategy, creative, and customer leadership teams, ensuring measurement aligns with broader marketing and business goals.
  • Cultivate a culture of curiosity, innovation, and business-driven analytics within the team and organization.

What You Will Bring

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, data science, or media measurement, with a strong focus on driving business impact.
  • Proven ability to develop a measurement philosophy that ties marketing KPIs to business growth.
  • Deep expertise in media measurement methodologies, including:
    • Incrementality testing/lift studies to measure campaign effectiveness.
    • Media mix modeling (MMM) for optimizing budget allocation across channels.
    • Attribution & customer journey analytics to understand multi-touchpoint performance.
    • Experimentation & statistical significance analysis for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis, predictive modeling, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake for large-scale data management.
  • Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio to present clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic insights that drive business decisions and marketing effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for executive stakeholders.
  • High business acumen with a deep understanding of traditional and digital media performance metrics and their impact on growth.
  • A willingness to navigate ambiguity, helping to define and evolve measurement frameworks to deliver increasing value to customers.
  • A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a continual learner, staying at the forefront of media innovation while prioritizing client success with a customer-focused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.
  • A dedication to people-focused leadership, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth by leading by example and nurturing strong relationships that empower others to excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working on a Marketing Science (MarSci) team.
  • Experience applying machine learning models in marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of identity resolution, privacy trends, and AI-driven media optimization.
  • Experience leading major measurement transformations, such as implementing MMM, launching new incrementality testing capabilities, or onboarding retail media clients.
